Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 12 year old son is so skinny. He has absolutely no meat on his bones. He has been diagnosed with ADD and takes medication (5 mg in the morning and 5 mg at noon). He is a very picky eater. Several years ago he was also diagnosed with psoriosis. I m just concerned about his weight. He eats lots of peanut butter and drinks Special K shakes daily. Any ideas?
add and psoriasis are two different conditions it can be treated but if he is on methotrexate for psoriasis it may cause weight loss , if he is eating well look for any chronic infections and he requires good protein diet along with fats like pulses and cerels
